FAQ

1) Location button doesn’t respond / cannot center to my location

Check that Location Services is enabled on your device.
Check that the app has location permission (ideally “While Using the App” or higher).
If you previously denied permission, you must re-enable it in iOS Settings.

2) Photo scan shows no new photos / photos don’t match any park

Ensure the app has Photo Library permission.
If your photos don’t contain location metadata, matching may not be possible.
Inaccurate GPS (e.g., indoors) may reduce matching accuracy.

3) How does incremental photo scanning work? Will it slow down the app?

Scanning runs incrementally and prioritizes photos taken after the last scan.
Work is processed in batches to reduce UI blocking where possible.

4) Automatic location check-in does not trigger

Make sure you enabled the feature and granted location permission.
Automatic check-in usually requires staying in a park area for some time; drive-by passes typically won’t trigger.
If location accuracy is poor, the app may avoid making a decision to reduce false positives.

5) Pro purchase / restore

Make sure you are using the same Apple ID used for the purchase.
Use the “Restore Purchases” option in the purchase page.
If it still fails, email support with relevant purchase context (do not share sensitive credentials).
