This policy describes how 16 Personalities (“the app”) handles information related to privacy. By using the app, you acknowledge this policy. If you disagree, please stop using the app.
The app is intended for general users. It does not provide medical or psychological diagnosis. Questions and copy are independent and not affiliated with any official personality-assessment certification.
The app does not require sign-up or sign-in and does not upload your answers, results, or history to the developer’s own servers. That data is kept on your device (local storage and preferences).
Progress and per-version history are stored on your device so you can continue a quiz or review past results. Uninstalling the app or clearing data may remove this information.
When you use the system share sheet to share a text summary, the destination is chosen by the system and the apps you pick. The app does not see where you shared it.
Before some “deep interpretation” content, the app may show rewarded video ads served by Google AdMob. Requests, delivery, and settlement happen on Google’s side and partner networks.
How Google uses data: Google Privacy Policy. For ad and privacy controls, see Google’s documentation and your device settings.
The app is not directed at collecting identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child provided information to us, contact us using the details below and we will help as appropriate.
We may update this policy for features or legal requirements. We will change the “Last updated” date on this page. For material changes, we may also notify you in the app when appropriate. Please review this page periodically.
